BNP's Khulna divisional rally today

KHULNA, July 24 (UNB): BNP is set to hold a public rally in Khulna today (Thursday) demanding the release of its chairperson Khaleda Zia from jail.

The rally, which is scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm at Shaheed Hadis Park in the city, will be addressed by party senior leaders, including its secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and five standing committee members, said party organising secretary Nazrul Islam Monju.

He said they have already completed necessary preparations for making the rally a success.

Monju said it will be the party's third divisional rally as it earlier held similar meetings in Barishal and Chattogram on July 18 and July 20 respectively demanding Khaleda's release.
