Case filed against Quader Mirza

NOAKHALI, Sept 26 (BSS): A case was filed on Thursday against former Mayor of Basurhat municipality Quader Mirza and 111 others allegedly for killing four Jamaat-Shibir men in the district in 2013.

One Md Amirul Islam filed the case with the Noakhali Chief Judicial Magistrate Court. The Judge of the court Md Iqbal Hossain accepted the case and ordered to file it with Companiganj Thana, said plaintiff ABM Jakaria.

On December 14 in 2013, the accused attacked a protest rally over the death sentence of central Jamaat-e-Islami leader Abdul Quader Mollah in Basurhat and killed four protesters.
