Chaos centring judgment to be dealt with an iron fist: IGP

Inspector General of Police (IGP) Mohammad Jabed Patwary on Wednesday said police with professionalism and legal manner will deal with an iron hand all kinds of attempt of anarchy centering the verdict of the graft case against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia scheduled to be delivered today (Thursday), reports UNB.
Talking to the reporters at the media center of Police Headquarters in the city he said "Police will restrict any kind of attempt of creating chaos centering the verdict with an iron hand and will not tolerate it at any cost."
To maintain law and order situation and ensure public security, all measures have been taken including deployment of additional law enforcers in Dhaka metropolitan city and other divisions, district and upazilas across the country, he said.
