Charge against five Jashore war crimes accused June 17

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 set on Sunday June 17 for submitting formal charge in the crimes against humanity case against five accused from Jashore, reports BSS.

Justice Md. Shahinur Islam, chairman of the three-member panel of the ICT-1, set the date after accepting a time plea from the prosecution.

"The investigation agency on April 10 released its report on probe against the five accused including Siddikur Rahman Gazi alias Siddik. They have brought six charges including murder, rape and confinement against them," said Prosecutor Rezia Sultana Chaman.

The prosecutor refrained from revealing the names of other four accused as they are still at large.
