Chargesheets submitted in 26 cases centring July Uprising

Police have submitted chargesheets in 26 cases filed in different parts of the country over the July Uprising, reports UNB.

Among the cases, eight were murder cases while the rest 18 were filed on several charges, according to a Police Headquarters press release.

The eight murder cases were from Sherpur, Feni, Chandpur, Cumilla, Kurigram and Chattogram Metropolitan Police while the 18 others were from Bogura, Chapainawabganj, Sirajganj, Pabna, Jamalpur and Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Barishal Metropolitan Police, Rajshahi Metropolitan Police and Police Bureau of Investigation.
