Chhatra Adhikar leader on remand for ‘rape’ of DU student

A Dhaka court has placed Bangladesh Sadharan Chhatra Adhikar Sangrakkhan Parishad joint convener Nazmul Hasan Sohag on a three-day remand in a case lodged over rape of a student of Dhaka University (DU), reports BSS.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Kanak Barua passed the order on Thursday as police produced Nazmul before the court and pleaded to place him on a seven-day remand.
