Cops nab 10 Jamaat men in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI, Mar 12 (UNB): Police arrested 10 leaders and activists of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami allegedly from a secret meeting in a building at Barnali intersection of the city on Monday morning.
Professor Mujibur Rahman, acting ameer of the central committee, and Siddique Hossain, general secretary of the Jamaat Rajshahi unit, were among the arrestees.
Witnesses said being tipped-off, a team of police cordoned off the five-storey building around 9am and arrested them.
However, police did not make any comment on the arrest immediately.
