Cos nab eight Jamaat-Shibir men in C'nawabganj

CHAPAINAWABGANJ, Apr 15 (UNB): Detectives here on Saturday arrested eight activists of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir allegedly along with leaflets and books on militancy from a mess in Shahibagh area of Sadar upazila.

Additional Police Superintendent Mahbub Alam said acting on a tip-off, a team of the Detective Branch (DB) of police conducted a drive at the mess in the early hours and arrested eight members of Jamaat-Shibir along with huge books on militancy, leaflets and fund collection registers.
