Country witnesses remarkable development: Shajahan

Shipping Minister Shajahan Khan said on Friday the countrymen witnessed its development under the dynamic leadership of Awami League (AL) government, reports BSS.

"Awami League government has been working relentlessly for the country's development and people witness the progress of the country at the AL government's tenure," he said while speaking as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of a photo exhibition at Jatiya Press Club (JDC) in the city.

Bangladesh Photo Journalists' Association (BPJA) organised the event, said a press release.

President of the BPJA ABM Lafikur Rahman presided over the programme while JPC president Shafikur Rahman, general secretary Farida Yasmin, advisers of the association Helena Jahangir, Syeda Razia Mostafa, Power Vision Limited managing director Mojibur Rahman and BPJA general secretary Golam Mostafa were present, among others.

A total of 420 photos were put on display at the programme.
