Court freezes 23 bank A/Cs of ex-IGP Shahidul

A Dhaka court has ordered to freeze 23 bank accounts of former inspector general of police (IGP) AKM Shahidul Haque, reports BSS.

Senior Special Judge of Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Court Md Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order on Monday following a petition submitted by the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC).

Deputy Director of the ACC headquarters quoting the petition said the commission has constituted an inquiry committee for investigation into allegations of corruption, misuse of power and criminal misconduct.
