Court orders to freeze 28 bank accounts of Zahid Maleque, son

A Dhaka court has ordered to freeze a total of 28 bank accountsof former health minister Zahid Maleque and his son Rahar Maleque over graft charges, reports BSS.

Of the 28 bank accounts, 16 are of Zahid and 12 belong to Rahar, report agencies.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order on Thursday, allowing two separate petitions of Deputy Director of Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) Fazlul Haque.

A Dhaka court has imposed a travel ban on former minister of Chattogram Hill Tracts Affairs Bir Bahadur U Shwe Sing, his wife Mayhla Prue Marma and their three children over graft allegations.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senio Special Judge Zakir Hossain Galib passed the order on Thursday, allowing a plea of the ACC. Assistant director of the anti- graft watchdog Md Abdul Malek filed the plea with the court.
