Court seizes tax documents of ex-minister Mozammel

A Dhaka court has ordered to seize tax documents of former Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Huq over graft allegations, reports BSS.

Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge Md Sabbir Faiz passed the order on Thursday, allowing a plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC). Assistant Director Abul Kalam Azad of the anti-graft body filed the plea.

According to the ACC plea, an investigation is underway against AKM.Mozammel Huq for allegedly abusing his power to amass wealth disproportionate to his known sources of income through illicit means.
