Covid-19 infected Khulna-6 MP taken to Dhaka

KHULNA, Sept 07 (BSS): Akteruzzaman Babu, Parliament Member of Khulna-6 constituency (Paikgachha-Koyra) who has been diagnosed with COVID -19 infection has been taken to Dhaka by an air ambulance on Monday morning for better treatment.

The lawmaker Babu also former Organising Secretary of Khulna district Awami League (AL) tested COVID- 19 positive on September 4 and was undergoing treatment at his Tutpara residence in the city.

Advocate Farid Ahmed, ex-office secretary of Khulna district AL in a press release said the physicians advised taking him to Dhaka for improved treatment though his physical condition is normal.

Babu was taken to Dhaka by an air ambulance from BN Titumir ground, Khulna.
