Ctg AL leader injured in attack, dies

CHATTOGRAM, Mar 26 (UNB): A local Awami League leader, who was critically injured in an attack by unidentified assailants in Rangunia upazila of Chattogram, succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment on Wednesday.
The deceased, Nurul Islam Talukder, 70, son of Innal Amin Talukder of Mirrekhil village, was a former president of the Ward-1 unit of Rangunia Awami League, said ATM Shifatul Mazdar, officer-in-charge of South Rangunia Police Station.
