Dr Kamal to cast ballot at Viqarunnisa centre

Jatiya Oikya Front chief Dr Kamal Hossain will cast his vote at Viqarunnisa Noon School and College polling station in the city this (Sunday) morning, reports UNB.

At a press conference at Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU), he said he will cast his ballot by 8.00am to 9.00am at the centre near his house.

"Exercising franchise is my right. It's not a matter of confusion. I'll surely go to the polling station nearby my house (Viqarunnisa) on foot by 8am to 9am to enjoy my right," Dr Kamal said.

Asked whether he is concerned over his personal security, Dr Kamal said, "I never sought security from police in my whole life...the way various incidents are happening now across the country, it's natural to be worried about. But I never got scared in the past, and won't be in the future either."
