The government will remain open the draft list of the martyrs who sacrificed lives in the July-August uprising for all until October 06 to verify, correct, or add names, addresses, and other relevant details in bringing perfection to it, reports BSS .
The government on Wednesday published the draft list of 708 martyred in the student led mass uprising.
The draft list of the martyrs is now available on the websites of Health Service Department, www.hsd.gov.bd and Directorate General of Health Services, www.dghs.gov.bd, said a government handout.
The list, compiled from various public and private hospitals and district sources, identifies martyrs from the anti-discrimination student movement, it read.
The government has urged the family members, representatives and successors to scrutinise the published names, addresses and other related information to verify, correct, or add names, addresses, and other relevant details to make a complete list.
If name of any martyrs is dropped out of the list, the family members, successors and representatives of the martyrs can contact with respective deputy commissioners (DCs), civil surgeons, upazila nirbahi officers (UNOs) and upazila health and family welfare officers with proper documents.
If anyone has any opinion, advice or any information regarding names, addresses published in the draft list alongside having any data or information to add in the list, has been requested to inform the respective hospitals from where services received and nearby government hospitals.
