Ex-army officers console family of slain Lt Tanjim on behalf of Tarique

A delegation of former military officers, led by Maj Gen Fazle Elahi Akbar, visited the house of slain Lieutenant Tanjim Sarwar Nirjhon in Tangail to console the bereaved family on behalf of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman on Wednesday, reports UNB.

The former military officers expressed deep sympathy to the Tanjim's family members at Korer Betka village in the Korotia Union of Tangail Sadar Upazila. Then the visiting delegation and the BNP leaders offered prayers at the graveyard of the martyr army officer and placed a wreath at his grave.
