Ex-councilor held in Ctg

Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, former city unit president of Jatiya Sramik League and also former councilor of Chattogram City Corporation, has been arrested in Chattogram, reports BSS.
Acting on a tip-off, police arrested him in his residence located in the Goasaildanga area on Wednesday evening as he has been implicated in a case filed with Bandar police station after August 5 on charges of his involvement for attacking students during student-led mass uprising.
