Ex-MP Rashiduzzaman held

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested Rashiduzzaman Morol, a former Member of Parliament (MP) for Khulna-6, who faces multiple charges related to violence and the use of explosives, reports UNB.

Rashiduzzaman was arrested during a joint operation by RAB-6 and RAB-8 in the Mahipur area of Patuakhali district in the early hours of Wednesday, according to a statement from ASP Imran Khan, spokesperson for the RAB headquarters media wing.

The former MP is currently implicated in three separate cases involving violent activities and explosives.
