Ex-state minister Enamur on remand-

A Dhaka court has placed former state minister for disaster management and relief Dr Md Enamur Rahman on a four-day remand in Riday murder case in the Savar area during the

anti-discrimination student movement, reports BSS.

Dhaka Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate KM Mohiuddin passed the order on Tuesday,

rejecting Dr Enam's bail petition as police produced the accused before the

court with a seven-day remand prayer.

Detective Branch (DB) of the police arrested Dr Enamur Rahman from the capital's Bhatara area on January 27.
