FFs’ graves to be built with same design: Mozammel

MANIKGANJ Feb 15 (BSS): AKM Mozammel Huque, minister for liberation war affairs, today said the graves of freedom fighters would be built with same identical design so that the next generation can identify the graves of the greatest sons of the soil.

"The Liberation War Affairs Ministry is also planning to construct monument for freedom fighters in each area across the country with same identical design from this year," the minister said this while talking to freedom fighters here on his way to Nagarpur of Tangail district.

Huque said the government under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh has already ensured all the rights to freedom fighters by providing them with various facilities and it will increase in the days to come.

AKM Nurul Huque, commander of Saturia Upazila Freedom Fighters Command Council, among others, talked to the minister during the stopover.

AL's joint meet Sunday

Awami League will hold a joint meeting at Priyanka Community Center adjacent to the party president's Dhanmondi political office at 12.30pm on Sunday, reports BSS.

The meeting is being organised to make the party's public rally at the historic Suhrawardy Udyan a success marking Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's historic 7th March Speech, said a press release.

Presidents and general secretaries of the adjoining district units of Dhaka and associate bodies will attend the meeting.

Party's General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader on Thursday requested all concerned to remain present at the meeting in time.
