Forge nationwide resistance against extortionists: Hasnat

BENAPOLE, July 12: Hasnat Abdullah, chief coordinator of the National Citizens' Party (NCP) for the southern region, has called for building nationwide resistance against extortionists.

He made the call while addressing a roadside rally in Satkhira on Saturday (July 12).

"Extortion has engulfed the country. Resist extortionists from every household. Cut off all forms of ties with them, including family connections," Hasnat Abdullah said.

Referring to the July uprising, he said the movement was against extortionists and political thugs.

"We are witnessing a renewed surge in extortion across the country," he said.
