Former MP Mazharul Islam Sujon arrested

Former MP of Thakurgaon-2 constituency Mazharul Islam Sujon has been arrested on charges of extortion and issuing death threats, reports UNB.
A team of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested him from the Nikunj area of the capital on Wednesday.
ANM Imran Khan, Senior Assistant Director of RAB's Legal and Media Wing, confirmed the arrest.
