Four activists of AL, front held in city

Detective police on Tuesday arrested four Awami League (AL) stalwarts, including an organising secretary of Bangladesh Mohila AL, during separate raids in the capital.

The arrestees are: Mohila AL's Ismat Ara Happy (40), Jubo Leagues's Ward No.33 President Azim Md Mahbub Alam (53), Kotwali unit Chhatra League's former senior joint general secretary Md Saiful Islam Sagar (32), and Chhatra League's Mohammadpur unit Assistant General Secretary Tanjim Rahman Akash Dewan (32), according to Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

Ismat Ara Happy was arrested by a DB police team of Wari zone at Dhandmondi area, while a team of DB police Lalbagh zone arrested Azim Md Mahbub Alam from Kotwali area, Md Saiful Islam Sagar was arrested by a DB cyber team from Islampur area, and Tanzim Rahman Akash was nabbed by a DB cyber team from Basila area.
