Gono Odhikar Parishad holds meeting with US Chargé d'Affaires

A meeting was held between Gono Odhikar Parishad and US Chargé d'Affaires to Bangladesh Tracy Ann Jacobson, reports BSS .

The delegation from Gono Odhikar Parishad included its President Nurul Haque Nur, General Secretary Md. Rashed Khan, and International Affairs Secretary Md. Khairul Amin, said a press release.

US Chargé d'Affaires was accompanied by Political-Economic Counselor Eric Gilan and Political Affairs Officer James A. Stewart.

During the meeting, discussions took place on various issues including post-uprising politics, the economy, US policies regarding Bangladesh, bilateral relations, elections, and the future plans of Gono Odhikar Parishad.

US Chargé d'Affaires Tracy Ann Jacobson praised the role of students and the public during the uprising.
