Gonosanghati Andolon announces candidates for 91 JS seats

Gonosanghati Andolon has announced the names of its candidates for 91 constituencies ahead of the upcoming 13th Jatiya Sangsad (JS) elections, reports BSS.

The announcement came at a press conference at the party's central office in the capital's Hatirpool on Thursday.

Party Chief Coordinator Zonayed Saki will contest from Brahmanbaria-6 constituency, while Abul Hasan Rubel has been nominated for Pabna-4 and Dhaka-10. Taslima Akhter will vie from Dhaka-12, Hasan Maruf Rumi from Chattogram-9, and Dewan Abdur Rashid Nilu from Barishal-5.

Other nominees include Tariqul Sujan from Narayanganj-5, Manir Uddin Pappu from Dhaka-7, Bachhu Bhuiyan from Dhaka-3, Julhasnain Babu from Pabna-2, and Advocate Murad Morshed from Rajshahi-2.

Dipak Kumar Roy has been nominated for both Lalmonirhat-2 and Lalmonirhat-3, Alif Dewan for Tangail-6, Sentu Ali for Natore-1, AKM Shamsul Alam for Mymensingh-10, Mofakharul Islam Moon for Rangpur-2, and Touhidur Rahman for Rangpur-3.

The list also includes Syed Saiful Islam from Moulvibazar-4, Mostafizur Rahman Rajib from Mymensingh-4, Tosaddeque Hossain alias Saikat Arif from Naogaon-5, and Zahidul Alam Al-Zahid from Chattogram-4, among others.
