Governance, constitutional reform a must to uproot fascism: Saki

SAVAR, Aug 29 (BSS): Chief Coordinator of Ganosanghoti Andolon Jonayed Saki has said reforming the governance and constitutional framework is indispensable, as democracy will not be established merely through a change of government.

"The governance system and constitutional framework that enabled the past government become fascist will not fulfill democratic aspirations unless they are reformed," Saki said.

He made the remarks while talking to reporters after paying tribute to the brave martyrs on the occasion of the 23rd founding anniversary of the Ganosanghoti Andolon at the National Memorial in Savar on Friday..

Leaders and workers from different levels of the party gathered at the memorial and paid tribute to the brave martyrs by placing wreaths.
