Hanif doubts BNP's intention of getting Khaleda released

Expressing skepticism about BNP's intention in getting Khaleda Zia released, Awami League (AL) Joint General Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif said on Saturday BNP is out to mould public opinion against the government instead of seeking the release of its party supremo, reports BSS.

"In reality, BNP does not want sincerely the release of Khaleda Zia from jail. Because, they know that there is no scope to get the release of any convicted person through waging movement," he said.

Hanif was addressing a discussion titled 'Bangabandhu's Dream, Education System and Our Responsibility' as the chief guest at the Bangladesh Bureau of Educational Information and Statistics (BANBEIS) auditorium in the city.

Turning to able upbringing of students, Hanif urged the teachers to groom up the students imbuing them with morality and honesty to help avert shocks of social ills in future.
