Hearing on rule over oath of President by Speaker July 7

The High Court (HC) has set July 7 for hearing on a rule that challenged the legality of administering oath of office to the President by the Jatiya Sangsad Speaker, reports BSS.
A HC bench of Justice Sashanka Shekhar Sarkar and Justice K M Zahid Sarwar set the date on Monday.
Senior advocate Omar Faruk was present for a writ petition filed in this connection while Deputy Attorney General Mehedi Hasan stood for the state.
