'Honorarium of FFs to reach their doorsteps'

DINAJPUR, Oct 20 (BSS): Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque said on Friday the honorarium of freedom fighters (FFs) will be reached their doorsteps.

"The honorarium of FFs will be reached their doorsteps and the ministry is working to this end to lessen their sufferings," he told a conference of FFs in front of Muktijoddha Complex in Ghoraghat upazila of the district.

Earlier, the minister inaugurated the Muktijoddha Complex constructed at a cost of Tk 1.92 crore.

Lawmaker Md Shibli Sadiq, project director of the upazila muktijoddha complex construction project Abdul Hakim and freedom fighters, among others, were present at the function with Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Rashedul Haque in the chair.

Later, the minister inaugurated the Hakimpur Upazila and Birganj Upazila muktijoddha complexes.
