ICT frames charges against 11 M’singh men

A tribunal has framed charges against 11 men from Mymensingh for the atrocities they committed during the war of liberation in 1971, reports BSS.
"The three-member International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 headed by Justice Md Shahinur Islam framed four charges against the accused and set April 12 for submitting the opening statement in the trial," said prosecutor Rezia Sultana Chemon on Sunday.
Of the 11, five accused Md Khalilur Rahman, Md Shamsujjaman alias Abul Kalam, Md Abdullah, Md Rois Uddin Azadi alias Akkel Ali and Md Abdul Malek Akand alias Abul Hossain are in jail.
ICT investigation agency launched its probe against the accused on October 17, 2014, and concluded the job on February 16, 2017.
