Indictment against Khaleda Zia on Oct 17

A Dhaka court has fixed October 17 for holding hearing on charge framing in a case against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia for her 'derogatory remarks' about freedom fighters and martyred intellectuals.

Accepting the time petition filed by the defence, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Asaduzzaman Noor set the date on Tuesday, reports BSS.

Jananetri Parishad president AB Siddiqui filed another defamation case on November 03, 2016, against Khaleda Zia and her late husband Ziaur Rahman for stigmatising War of Liberation by rehabilitating anti-Liberation War elements.
