International Solidarity Day with Palestine observed at DU

On the occasion of the International Solidarity Day with Palestine, a 'March for Palestine' rally has been organised at Raju Sculpture on the Dhaka University (DU) campus, reports UNB.

People and students from various corners of the city and institutions attended the rally on Friday afternoon.

The rally marched on Dhaka University campus going through TSC, VC square, Fuller Road and Central Shaheed Minar.

During the rally, several slogans are heard such as 'Free free Palestinian,' 'From the river to the sea, Palestinian will be free,' 'Two zero two four, zionism no more, child killing no more, women killing no more,' 'Stop genocide, must stop,' among others.

Abu Baker Mojumder, a convener of Anti-discrimination Student Movement, said, "During the July uprising the Palestinian struggle inspired us. Now we want freedom of Palestine."
