Inu lauds PM's wisdom in forming 14-party alliance

Information Minister Hasanul Haque Inu said on Thursday Prime Minister and Awami League President Sheikh Hasina had showed her time-befitting and statesman-like wisdom by forming the 14-party grand alliance, reports BSS.

"Sheikh Hasina showed her statesman-like wisdom by forming the grand alliance and she was able to recover the country from razakars-militants and BNP in 2008. She is governing the country successfully till now," he said, responding to questions from reporters at his Secretariat office in the city.

The information minister who is also president of Jatiya Samajtantrik Dal (JASOD) briefed journalists to explain his speech delivered in Mirpur upazila of his home district of Kushtia on Wednesday on the importance of grand alliance and ill-motives against its unity.

Inu said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina forged the alliance knowing the history of all parties.
