Irfan Selim on 5-day remand

Irfan Selim, the suspended Dhaka South City Corporation councillor, and his bodyguard Md Zahid have been put on a five-day remand in two cases, reports BSS.

Additional Metropolitan Magistrate Md Kaisarul Islam gave police three days to interrogate them in custody in the firearms case.

Police had sought a seven-day remand. Meanwhile, Metropolitan Magistrate Satyabrata Sikder placed them a two-day remand.
