Jamaat announces 39-day prog on uprising anniv

Bangladesh Jamaat-e Islami has announced a 39-day-long programme from July 1 marking the first anniversary of July Mass Uprising, reports BSS.

Secretary General of the party Prof Mia Golam Parowar announced the programme at a press conference at its office in the capital's Mogbazar area on Saturday. The programme will commence on July 1 and continue until August 8.

The functions of the 39-day long programme include offering prayers for July martyrs and injured countrywide and meeting the family members of July martyrs.
