Jamaat to hold women's rally on Jan 31

Bangladesh Jamaat-e- Islami's will hold a rally for women at Suhrawardy Udyan in the capital on January 31 to protest harassment, attacks, and obstruction to their activities nationwide.

Nayeb-e Ameer of Jamaat Dr Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher made the announcement at a press conference at the party's central office on Tuesday.

He said this is for the first time that women activists from the party are coming forward publicly to stage a protest rally, which will begin at 10:30 am.
