JP has only Tk 7.7m in account

Jatiya Party (JP) submitted on Wednesday its annual financial statement to the Election Commission (EC) for the 2018 calendar year, showing a deposit of around Tk 7.7 million (77, 10, 000), reports UNB.

A JP delegation, led by its presidium member Rezaul Islam Bhuiyan, handed over the financial report to an EC official at Nirbachon Bhaban in the city. The other members of the JP delegation are its organising secretary M Helal Uddin and central committee member Liton Miazi.

According to the report, the party earned Tk 1, 97, 36,000. while it spent Tk 1, 20, 26, 000 in 2018.
