JU Chhatra Shakti gets new committee

Jatiya Chhatra Shakti has announced a new committee for its Jahangirnagar University (JU) unigt, naming Zia Uddin Ayan and Nadia Rahman Anvesha as president and general secretary respectively.

Zahid Ahsan, president of the organisation's central comittee, made the announcement was at around 8:30pm on Wednesday at Selim Al Deen Muktamancha.

Ayan is a student of the Government and Politics Department (50th batch), while Anvesha is in the 51st batch of the Management Studies Department.

The committee also includes Tanvir Ahmed Shihab as senior vice-president, Md Sajjad Hossain as senior joint general secretary, and Riajul Islam Riaz as organisational secretary.

Following the announcement, the central leaders instructed the JU unit to form and publish a full-fledged committee within the next seven working days.
