JUCSU polls to be held by May 21: VC

SAVAR, Feb 7(BSS): The long-awaited elections for the Jahangirnagar University Central Students' Union (JUCSU) and its hall units are expected to take place by late May this year.

"Before the elections, some essential reforms must be made to amend the JUCSU constitution and restore a fair electoral environment. Completing the reform process will take some time. Therefore, we have decided to hold the JUCSU election by May 21," said JU Vice-Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr. Kamrul Ahsan on Thursday night.
