Chief Adviser (CA) Muhammad Yunus says the "July Charter" will be announced after minimising the distance among parties, reports bdnews24.com.
"We all have gathered here today for the welfare of the country...we hope that we will be able to prepare a very beautiful July Charter by reaching consensus with all political parties," he said at a dialogue of the National Consensus Commission at the Foreign Service Academy on Monday.
The chief advisor added that he was very happy to see representatives from different political parties at the event.
The commission's Vice Chairman Ali Riaz echoed the sentiment.
Riaz reiterated that the commission is continuing its efforts to announce the July Charter in July as the tenure of the commission will conclude in August.
"We must succeed in performing the holy responsibility bestowed upon us," he said.
Leaders of 28 political parties and two alliances took part in the talks.
Initially, 26 parties and two alliances were invited, but later the Jamiate-Ulema-e-Bangladesh and the Islami Oikya Jote were also invited.
