Krishak Dal leader found dead in Rangpur

RANGPUR, Sept 27 (UNB): Police have recovered the body of local leader of Jatiyatabadi Krishak Dal leader, who went missing a day ago, in Kaunia upazila of Rangpur.

The deceased is Mobarak Ali, son of Ibrahim Hossain of Chargonai area, and convener of Tepamadhupur union unit of Krishak Dal.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Kaunia Police Station Abdul Latif Shah said Mobarak's body, wrapped in cloth, was exhumed from behind the house of Mominul Islam, a local resident, around 11:00 pm on Friday. His wife filed a general diary (GD) with Kaunia Police Station after he had gone missing.
