NILPHAMARI, Sept 26 (UNB): A madrasah teacher was arrested at Khutamara village in Jaldhaka Upazila Friday for his alleged link with the banned Jama'atul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB).
The arrested was identified as Azizul Islam, son of late Shamsuddin of the village.
The police said Azizul went into hiding after several cases were filed against him for his suspected link with the JMB.
The police arrested him when he came back home to celebrate holy Eid-ul-Fitr.
