Media cell on dengue, flood, rumours opens

The government has opened a media cell to raise awareness about dengue and rumours, reports UNB.

Operating round the clock, the cell will also provide information about the flood situation and government steps to provide relief and shelter.

To exchange information on dengue, flood and rumours, people have been requested to call landlines: 9512246, 9514988, 9540019, or fax: 9540942, 9540553, or send e-mails to [email protected].

They can also visit the website www.pressinform.govt.bd and Facebook profile 'PID BD' and the page of 'Press Information Department, Bangladesh'.
