NASA invites BD app team

NASA has invited the winning team from Bangladesh once again after they denied them US visa to visit the NASA Kennedy Space Center and attend several other programmes there.

Olik, the winning team from Bangladesh in the NASA Space Apps Challenge-2018 participated in the final event on July 22 through a video conference and presented their project through it.

At the event, high officials of NASA said they empathised with Team Olik as they could not attend the final event due to visa complexity.

The Team Olik would have the chance to get felicitation as the World Champion of this year's NASA Space Apps Challenge 2019, the event's local organiser, BASIS, said in a press statement on Wednesday.
