New political platform launched

'Bhasani Janashakti Party', a new political platform, was launched by the Bhasani Anushari Parishad on Sunday, aiming to build a prosperous and just Bangladesh, reports UNB.

The announcement was made during the National Representative Council 2025 of the Bhasani Anushari Parishad at the Jatiya Press Club auditorium in the capital.

Representatives from across the country approved the formation of the new party.

The council also approved a 121-member central committee of the party, with Sheikh Rafiqul Islam Babul as its chairman and Abu Yusuf Selim as secretary general.
