Nuruzzaman Biswas takes oath as MP

Md Nuruzzaman Biswas took oath as a member of the 11th Parliament on Wednesday, reports BSS.

Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury administered the oath at Parliament Bhaban.

Awami League leader Md Nuruzzaman Biswas was elected MP from Pabna-4 constituency in the by-polls held on September 26. The parliament seat became vacant following the death of ruling party MP Shamsur Rahman Sherif on April 02.

Senior secretary of the Jatiya Sangsad Dr Zafar Ahmed Khan conducted the oath taking ceremony. Deputy Speaker Md Fazle Rabbi Miah, chief whip Noor-E-Alam Chowdhury, whips Iqbalur Rahim, Mahbub Ara Begum Gini and Nadira Yasmin Jolly were present at the ceremony.
