Pak HC calls on Jamaat Ameer

High Commissioner of Pakistan Imran Haider paid a courtesy call on Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman at his office in the capital's Bashundhara area on Tuesday, reports BSS.

At the meeting, both sides exchanged views on matters of mutual interests between Bangladesh and Pakistan.

Pakistan High Commission's Political Counsellor Kamran Dhangal was also present.

During the discussion, issues related to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed and both sides expressed the hope that ties between Bangladesh and Pakistan would continue to grow stronger in the coming days.

Nayeb-e-Ameer and former MP Dr. Syed Abdullah Md. Taher, Assistant Secretary General and Chief of Central Publicity & Media Department Advocate Ahsanul Mahboob Zubair were also present during the meeting.
