Parwar warns of crisis if polls follow old manners

KHULNA, Nov 15 (BSS): Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami and former MP Mia Golam Parwar has said the nation could face severe consequences if the upcoming national election is conducted in the same manner as the 2014, 2018 and 2024 polls.

Speaking at a roadside gathering after inaugurating a motorcycle rally at Zero Point in Khulna on Saturday, Parwar called on the administration to ensure a neutral and transparent election process.

He emphasised the need for an election free from black money influence, noting that voters have pledged to support his party's symbol to promote peace.

The motorcycle rally passed through several local areas before concluding at Shiromoni Shaheed Minar with a brief gathering.

Local leaders and party activists joined the event, which took on a festive atmosphere.
