People won't put the corrupt into power: Qamrul

Food Minister Qamrul Islam said on Friday people of Bangladesh will not put the corrupt leaders into power anymore, reports BSS.

"Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is a much-admired personality to the world leaders. She now stands third in list of honest heads of states. On the contrary, former prime minister and BNP chief is now behind bars after being convicted of graft charges," he said.

The minister was addressing a function for inaugurating a newly-constructed complex of Ramer Kanda Government Primary School in Keraniganj in the morning.
